President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door security meeting with the nation’s service chiefs, intelligence heads, and the Inspector-General of Police at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting comes amid a recent escalation of attacks on military formations in different parts of the country by terrorist groups.

Those present include the Chief of Defence Staff, the National Security Adviser, the Chiefs of Army, Navy, and Air Staff, as well as the Director-General of the Department of State Services, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, and the Inspector-General of Police.
