Friends of late Nollywood actress Temitope “Tope” Osoba are preparing a special memorial gathering to celebrate her life and legacy following her death at the age of 40.
The tribute event, titled “An Evening of Love, Music & Memories,” is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, at LTV 8 Blueroof in Ikeja, Lagos.
Details released by the organisers show that the programme will commence at 5:00 pm, bringing together friends, colleagues and members of the entertainment industry to remember the actress through music and shared memories.
A flyer announcing the event was posted on Tope’s Instagram page on Friday, with the organisers describing the gathering as a celebration of her life, artistic talent and impact on the arts.
“Her voice, her art, her spirit… will remain in our hearts,” the organisers stated.
The candlelight and artistes’ night comes only days after the actress died at the age of 40, prompting an outpouring of grief among those who knew and worked with her.
