Actress Blessing Obasi Nze has opened up about the online criticism she faced after marrying actor Stan Nze, revealing that trolls repeatedly mocked her appearance and questioned their marriage.
Speaking in a recent interview, Blessing recalled that one of the most painful moments came on their first wedding anniversary when she was ridiculed over her teeth.
She said, “I was dragged on my 1st wedding anniversary because of my teeth. Trolls told me to stop laughing publicly because of my dentition.”
According to the actress, the criticism began even earlier after Stan Nze shared her photo for the first time on social media.
“When my husband posted my picture for the first time, people said I was 10 years older than him. They also said it was a movie because they didn’t believe he would actually marry me,” she said.
Blessing also revealed that her husband once became the subject of online backlash after an interview of his was taken out of context.
“My husband granted an interview one time, and his words were twisted on social media,” she added.
