Tanzanian singer Zuchu has announced her separation from fellow music star Diamond Platnumz, revealing that the couple are currently going through a divorce.
The pair got married in 2025, shortly after the wedding celebrations of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, following years of dating.
In a post shared on her Instagram Story, Zuchu confirmed the end of their marriage, saying the decision was difficult but necessary.
“We tried, but Allah has His own plans,” she wrote.
Announcing that divorce proceedings are underway, she added, “I have finally decided to choose myself and this is a time to heal and focus more on my health and career.
“My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After 6 years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself.”
Zuchu did not disclose the reason for the split. The couple had been together for several years before officially tying the knot in June 2025.
