Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has threatened legal action against a social media user who shared a false story involving her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, and their children.

The controversy began after an X user posted a fabricated claim alleging that Lateef had filed for divorce after a hospital reportedly discovered, through a blood donation and subsequent DNA test, that he was not the biological father of their supposed triplets.

Outraged by the post, Mo Bimpe condemned the false narrative, stressing that she could no longer ignore online trolls once her children became the target.

“I don’t want to hear ‘justice for whatever your stupid name is’ by the time I am ready for you! You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years & I’ve been quiet, but what I wouldn’t take is you bringing your stupidity to my children!!! Be warned! I won’t hesitate to take the right actions if need be 👍,” she wrote.

In another post, the actress also criticised the use of AI-generated images and fabricated claims to spread misinformation.

“It’s the nerve to post fake/AI pictures together with fabricated lies for me! Such effrontery!” she added.

Mo Bimpe’s response makes it clear that while she has overlooked online trolling in the past, she is prepared to take action against anyone who spreads false stories involving her family, particularly her children.
