Marshall Abubakar, legal counsel to VeryDarkMan, has taken legal action against Blord, filing a ₦1 billion defamation suit over alleged damaging remarks.
The case stems from claims that Blord described Abubakar as an “ex-convict,” an allegation the lawyer strongly denies, insisting it is entirely false and injurious to his reputation.
Abubakar argues that the statement has negatively impacted his professional image and credibility within the legal field.
As part of the suit, he is seeking a public retraction alongside monetary damages, stressing that a lawyer’s reputation is built over time and should not be tarnished by unverified claims.
Blord is yet to issue any public reaction regarding the lawsuit.
