South African music sensation Tyla has confirmed Lagos as one of the destinations on her forthcoming APOP World Tour*, giving Nigerian fans the chance to see her perform live later this year.
The Grammy-winning singer made the announcement on Monday via her Instagram page, where she released the full tour itinerary in support of her newly launched sophomore album, APOP.
The international tour will begin in Paris, France, on October 12 and will span 11 countries, with scheduled performances across Europe, North America and Africa. Countries on the tour include France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the United States, Nigeria and South Africa.
Tyla is billed to perform in Lagos on December 22 before closing the tour with two final shows in South Africa—Cape Town on January 4 and Johannesburg on January 9.
The singer shot to global fame in 2023 after releasing her smash hit Water, which earned widespread acclaim and won the 2024 Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance.
