Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P of P-Square, faced an angry reception from some Nigerians abroad after he allegedly arrived late for a scheduled performance.
A video circulating on social media shows the singer arriving at the venue with members of his entourage. As he walked toward the entrance, he smiled at people gathered outside, but several attendees appeared upset and confronted him over the reported delay.
One man, speaking in Igbo, openly insulted the singer, saying:

Despite the angry remarks, Peter did not stop to respond and continued into the venue with his team.
