Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has made a heartfelt appeal for financial support for her colleague, Ngozi Nwosu, during a church programme.
Speaking to the congregation, Eucharia urged Nigerians to come to the aid of the veteran actress, reminding them of the joy and laughter Ngozi Nwosu has brought to millions through her years in the movie industry.
Making an emotional plea, she said:
«“I’m sure you have seen the videos online, please biko… Help us!»
«She has added joy to this nation. She’s one of our mothers, but she’s getting old.”»
Her appeal touched many members of the church, who responded immediately by walking to the altar to make cash donations in support of the ailing actress.
