Former Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Chizzy, has reacted to claims by Ilebaye’s father that he contributed about 75% to her victory on the reality show, dismissing the statement as inaccurate and unfair to other supporters.

In a post shared on X, Chizzy said he was deeply involved in campaigning for her during the show and believes the father’s claim overlooks the collective effort that helped secure her win.

He wrote:

“Ilebaye’s dad lied when he said he contributed 75% to llebaye’s win. I literally carried that girl on my shoulders, campaigning for her like my life depended on it.

And ask me how she paid me back

She blocked and unfollowed me. Not just me, she unfollowed about 75% of the housemates too. But regardless of everything, I will never support evil or stay silent when something wrong is done.

What her father did was completely wrong.”

Chizzy further claimed that after the show, Ilebaye blocked and unfollowed him on social media, alongside a large number of other housemates who had supported her during the competition.

His reaction comes amid ongoing online debate triggered by Ilebaye’s father’s viral narration, where he insisted he played a major role in his daughter’s BBNaija win by mobilising support and contributing significantly to her campaign.

The controversy has continued to split opinion online, with some users backing Chizzy’s remarks while others argue that the final result of the show was determined strictly by public votes.
