The Yoruba film industry has been plunged into sorrow following reports of the death of Nollywood actor and comedian, Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole.
The news broke on Monday, June 1, after an Ibadan-based radio station, Success FM, announced his passing in a Facebook post, describing him as a gifted actor, filmmaker and comedian whose contributions to entertainment will be deeply missed.
The station wrote: “Heartbreaking news hits the Yoruba movie industry as multi-talented actor, filmmaker, and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, has reportedly passed away.”
The post also sent condolences to his family, friends, the people of Okeho, and the wider Nollywood community.
Details surrounding the cause of death remain unknown as of the time of this report.
His reported passing has left fans even more devastated, coming more than a year after he survived a serious accident that nearly claimed his life.
