Popular Fuji artiste Remi Aluko has revealed that he is currently living without his sight after years of struggling with glaucoma.

Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, the singer shared details of his health battle, explaining that the eye condition has gradually affected his vision despite efforts to manage it.

Aluko disclosed that he had previously undergone surgery and treatment for glaucoma, but his eyesight has continued to decline over time.

“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down,” he said.

The musician noted that although he can no longer see, he has adapted to his circumstances and remains determined not to allow the condition to overwhelm him.

“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed,” he added.

His revelation has sparked concern among fans, with many expressing support and admiration for his courage in dealing with the life-changing condition while continuing to carry on with daily activities.
