Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has paid an emotional tribute to his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko, as he marked the 10th anniversary of her death.
Reflecting on her life and legacy, the respected actor remembered Henrietta as a loving wife, devoted mother and a pillar of strength to their family. He noted that although a decade has passed since her demise, her memory remains deeply cherished by those she left behind.
Henrietta, a popular actress in the Nigerian movie industry, died in 2016, a loss that was widely felt across Nollywood and among her admirers.
In a heartfelt message, Kosoko said he continues to see her impact through their children, whom he described as doing well in life. He also prayed for her continued peaceful rest.
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creators. She was love, grace, and strength to our children and me. Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above. May God grant her Peace yonder. We miss you, Rita Omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, Iya Ibeji.”
Ten years after her passing, Henrietta’s legacy continues to live on through her contributions to Nollywood and the memories shared by her family, friends and colleagues.
