Nigerian music promoter Sam Larry has broken his silence after surviving a road accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.
The crash reportedly occurred over the weekend on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos State when the vehicle conveying Sam Larry and his bouncer collided with a trailer, leaving the car extensively damaged.
Speaking during a live video from his hospital bed, Sam Larry said he is recovering and is expected to be discharged soon. However, he revealed that he is currently unable to walk and will have to rely on a wheelchair for the time being.
“I’m doing well.
“I’m expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. The only issue I’m facing right now is that I can’t walk, so I’ll be using a wheelchair, and God knows till when.
“But, I’m grateful to be alive. I’ve seen a lot of negative speculation surrounding this accident. The God I serve knows the truth; I am innocent.”
The incident marks the second major road accident Sam Larry has survived. In 2024, he was also involved in a serious crash and later expressed gratitude to God for preserving his life, saying he believed he would make a full recovery.
