Big Brother Naija winner Mercy Eke has revealed that peer pressure and the popularity of cosmetic surgery influenced her decision to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Speaking in an interview with Korty EO, the reality TV star said she chose not to inform her mother before the procedure because she knew she would object to it.

Mercy recalled that recovering from the surgery was far from easy, explaining that she endured intense pain during the first few days and had to avoid sitting or sleeping on her backside for two weeks.

Even with the difficult healing process, she said she is happy with her decision and satisfied with the results.

“I got a BBL because it was trending and there was a lot of peer pressure. I didn’t tell my mum because I knew she would discourage me. You can’t sleep on your bum for 14 days, and you’ll cry for the first 3 days from the pain… but look, it’s soft now.”
