Ayra Starr has triggered online reactions after engaging with a viral clip of Rihanna using her song “WHO’S THAT GIRL” in a video, as conversations about an alleged issue involving Tyla continue online.

The moment came shortly after Tyla addressed claims that Rihanna ignored her during the Met Gala. According to the South African star, there was no intentional snub, suggesting Rihanna may simply have been occupied at the time.

Despite that explanation, Ayra Starr’s reaction to Rihanna’s post quickly became a topic on social media, with some users accusing her of indirectly fueling comparisons between herself and Tyla.

One user wrote: “lmao you only come alive when you’re compared to tyla lol, all this still wont give you vocals girl”

Another commented: “you can’t see that you’re being used as a pawn in this? silly girl”

A different user questioned: “Why are you picking sides”

However, several fans defended Ayra Starr, insisting she had every right to acknowledge Rihanna using her music.

One reaction read: “Shade ke …. Rihanna used her song so she shouldn’t appreciate it? Una de talk sha”

Another user encouraged her to enjoy the attention, writing: “Ayra please ride on this promo .. it’s okay to be messy .. everyone is being messy we won’t judge you..”

Others argued that the timing of her response only added more fuel to the already trending discussions surrounding Rihanna and Tyla.

Meanwhile, another social media user shared Tyla’s photo with the caption: “I wish this was me” 😂
