Actress and former Big Brother Naija star Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has expressed deep emotional concern over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity, following the recent abduction of students and teachers in Oyo State.

In a video shared on her social media page, Bambam appeared visibly emotional as she reacted to the recurring wave of violence and tragedy across the country, including kidnappings, loss of lives, health challenges and rising fear among citizens.

“What’s the SOLUTION?!!! What’s the solution, people? We’ve cried. We’ve made flyers. We’ve wailed. We’ve prayed. Yet the pain keeps coming,” she said.

She lamented the impact of insecurity on families and communities, questioning how many more incidents would occur before meaningful action is taken to protect lives and improve safety in the country.

“Kidnappings. Loss. Cancer. Grief. Fear. It feels like we’re all just trying to survive one tragedy after another,” she added.

Bambam also urged Nigerians to be more intentional about checking on loved ones, showing kindness, and valuing relationships, stressing that life remains unpredictable.

She further raised concerns about healthcare and governance, calling for improved security systems, better medical care, and stronger leadership that prioritizes human lives.

“And honestly… where is the government in all of this? How many more people need to go missing? How many more families need to mourn before safety, healthcare, and human lives are treated like a priority?” she questioned.

The emotional video has since generated reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing her concerns over insecurity and the need for urgent solutions.
