Popular Nigerian skit maker and entertainer Carter Efe has had his TikTok account permanently banned after repeatedly violating the platform’s community guidelines.
The ban has effectively cut off his main short-form video platform, where he had amassed a significant following through comedy skits, music promotion and livestreaming.
Confirming the development, TikTok said, “your account was permanently banned because of multiple policy violations.”
Carter Efe rose to prominence through comedy content on TikTok before expanding his career into livestreaming and music.
The development means the entertainer will no longer be able to access his main TikTok platform following the permanent suspension.
