Isreal DMW’s actions have cost fans a song that was originally set to appear on Davido’s upcoming album, Oriade.
During a livestream with streamer Davrel, Davido disclosed that he decided to remove the unreleased track after Isreal repeatedly shared it online despite receiving a warning.
The singer explained that after Isreal first leaked the song, he cautioned him against playing it again, and Isreal assured him it wouldn’t happen. But just two days later, Davido came across another video showing his aide happily dancing with a towel while vibing to the same unreleased track, confirming that it had been played publicly once again.
“I took down one song off the album cause Isreal DMW kind of leaked it. He promised not to play it again when I warned him only for me to see a video of him dancing with a towel vibing to the song online 2 days later,” Davido said.
According to Davido, the repeated leaks left him with no choice but to remove the song from Oriade before the album’s release.
