Afrobeats superstar Davido has seemingly fired back at Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo after the governor took a swipe at his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, over his frequent dancing.
Okpebholo had mocked Adeleke during an APC campaign event, questioning whether Osun residents were tired of seeing their governor dance, as political activities intensify ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
Not long after the governor’s remark, Davido took to social media and shared a WAEC result attributed to Okpebholo.
Although the singer did not directly explain the reason for posting the document, the timing of the post led many social media users to interpret it as a response to the governor’s comments about Adeleke.
The WAEC result attributed to Okpebholo has previously circulated online and generated discussions over his academic record, although claims surrounding the document have also been debated.
