Reality TV star Adeola “Diiadem” Adeyemi has addressed reports linking her romantically to businessman Olakunle Churchill, particularly claims that she got pregnant for him following her public fallout with former best friend Dabota Lawson.
Diiadem explained that she and Churchill, popularly known as Big Church, have been friends for more than 13 years. According to her, their relationship dates back to her school days in Ghana, and the pregnancy allegation being attached to their friendship is completely untrue.
She also clarified that her appearances at Churchill’s events should not be interpreted as evidence of a romantic relationship. She said she attends events hosted by her friends to show support and that people should not turn every friendship into gossip.
The reality star further denied ever confirming that she was pregnant for anyone. She explained that her previous use of the phrase “my married ex” was taken out of context and was not an admission of the claims currently circulating.
Diiadem said the phrase was simply a reference to wording that had already been used publicly, but people later attached a different meaning to it and built a new narrative around it.
Her clarification comes as her strained relationship with Dabota Lawson continues to generate reactions and discussions on social media.
“I’ve known Big Church for over 13 years. We have a long-standing friendship that dates back to my school days in Ghana. The pregnancy rumor being attached to our friendship is completely false.
“I attend my friend’s events, I support the people I care about, and that’s all there is to it. Not every friendship needs to be turned into gist.
“One more thing; I never admitted to being pregnant for anyone, nor did I confirm any of the narratives currently being circulated.
“The term ‘my married ex’ was simply me referencing a phrase that had already been used publicly.
“Somehow, that has now been turned into an entirely different story. Please, let’s stop turning assumptions into facts.”
