Controversial content creator DJ Chicken has issued an apology to Seyi Tinubu following the outrage that trailed a viral video in which he made threatening remarks about him.
The apology comes after several Nigerians called for his arrest over comments suggesting he would harm Seyi Tinubu if President Bola Tinubu secures victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Responding to the backlash in a fresh video posted on Instagram, DJ Chicken maintained that his earlier remarks were never meant to be taken literally. He described the video as content created for entertainment and insisted he had no intention of carrying out the threat.
He said:
“Nigerians are crazy. Don’t you know that I’m a content creator? Can i k!ll Seyi Tinubu? That’s what I’m using to feed my self, even Seyi Tinubu will be laughing at the video.”
