Princess Ekeinde, daughter of Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, has opened up about her expectations for marriage, saying she cannot settle for someone below the standards set by her family.
Speaking on relationships and the qualities she desires in a partner, Princess said her upbringing and family background play a major role in the choices she makes.
“I can’t marry down because of the kind of family I come from. If you know, you know. Obviously, there is a standard that my family has already set, and I have to follow that precedence. Anything lower than that is a no-no,” she said.
She added that beyond maintaining her family’s standard, she also hopes to marry someone she genuinely loves and who matches or exceeds her current status.
“Outside of that, I also want to marry up for someone that I love. I think, when you are in a certain standard, you can only go up from that standard,” she added.
According to Princess, choosing a life partner is not just about love but also about finding someone whose values, achievements and lifestyle align with the level she believes she has attained.
