Popular content creator Jarvis has dragged comedian and streamer Carter Efe to court over alleged cyberbullying, harassment, defamation, and repeated false accusations against her online.

In a legal notice issued through her lawyers, Jarvis, whose real name is Elizabeth Aminata Amadou, accused Carter Efe of using his livestreams and social media platforms to allegedly spread damaging claims capable of ruining her reputation, career, and emotional wellbeing.

According to the letter, Carter Efe allegedly made several controversial remarks during livestream sessions, including claims that Jarvis had relationships with multiple men in Abuja. He was also accused of linking her romantically with content creators known as Joblaq and Hilarious.

Her legal team described the comments as false, malicious, and defamatory, arguing that they portrayed her as immoral and exposed her to public ridicule, online harassment, and emotional distress.

The petition also mentioned comments allegedly made by Carter Efe during the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria, where he insinuated that Jarvis lodged at Transcorp Hotel for questionable reasons connected to the collaboration.

Jarvis’ lawyers maintained that the statements were reckless and intentionally aimed at damaging her public image and professional reputation.

As part of the demands listed in the letter, Jarvis is requesting an immediate retraction of all defamatory statements, a public apology across all social media platforms and livestreams, as well as apology publications in national newspapers.

She is equally demanding a written undertaking from Carter Efe agreeing to stop making or promoting any further defamatory statements against her.

The letter added that failure to comply within 14 days could result in legal proceedings being initiated against the streamer.
