Actor Williams Uchemba has reacted to rumours surrounding the marital life and alleged children of late Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo, saying he would not speak on issues the actor deliberately kept private while alive.
During an appearance on The Am Show, Uchemba explained that he respected Ekubo’s choice to keep certain aspects of his personal life away from public attention.
“If Alex wanted it hidden from the public, then I believe his decision should be respected. That was the way he chose to live his life,” he said.
The filmmaker also maintained that only Ekubo’s immediate family has the right to address such matters if they decide to do so.
“If anything is ever going to be revealed, I think it should come from his family. Some people are very private about their personal lives, so it is better to allow the family speak on it,” he added.
