Jarvis has come to Peller’s defence amid the ongoing controversy sparked by rapper YCee’s remarks about the popular content creator.

The social media personality reacted after YCee referenced Peller while lamenting what he described as the growing disregard for academic excellence in Nigeria. Following Peller’s response, Jarvis also weighed in on the debate, defending her fiancé and the role social media has played in helping young Nigerians earn a living.

Speaking in a video, Jarvis argued that many graduates are unable to secure jobs despite spending years in school, forcing them to seek alternative means of survival.

“I went to school and graduated, but the government didn’t provide jobs for us. What exactly did you expect us to do?

Did your president go to school? Tell that to your president.

You can’t expect people with great potential and intelligence to end up cleaning toilets after spending years in school.

Some have turned to theft, k!dnapp!ng, and armed r0bbery because there are no jobs.

We’re only trying to entertain people and earn a living.”

She also praised social media for creating opportunities for young people who might otherwise be unemployed.

“We should be grateful for social media because it has helped many of us make money. Without it, I don’t know what Nigeria would look like today.”

Addressing YCee directly, Jarvis concluded with a warning:

“Please keep my man’s name out of your mouth.”
