Big Brother Naija Season 11 has recorded its first exits, with Martins Iyeh and Ijeoma “Mercedes” Emi leaving the competition after Sunday’s live eviction show.
The two housemates were sent packing after finishing with the lowest vote totals in the first public voting exercise of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Martins received 1.63 per cent of the votes cast, while Mercedes attracted 2.29 per cent. Keivo, who secured 2.92 per cent, managed to avoid eviction and continue his stay in the house.
Martins was the first contestant announced as evicted before Mercedes followed, resulting in the season’s first double eviction.
Their exit comes roughly two weeks after the show kicked off on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million prize package. The reward includes ₦100 million in cash and an SUV.
The current season is hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and is built around the theme “Show Ya Sef”, with “Everything Is For The Taking” as its official tagline.
