Real Madrid have completed the signing of Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, the Spanish club announced on Thursday.

The LaLiga giants confirmed on their official website that the winger has signed a contract running until June 2033 after both clubs reached an agreement.

According to Sport, the transfer is valued at more than €120 million. Madrid will reportedly pay a guaranteed €125 million, with an additional €10 million in easily achievable bonuses and another €5 million linked to more demanding performance targets. Leganés, Diomande’s former club, will receive five percent of the fixed transfer fee.

The deal took longer than anticipated to conclude due to a disagreement involving the player’s current and former agents.

Diomande joins Real Madrid after making 46 senior club appearances—10 for Leganés and 36 for Leipzig, including 33 Bundesliga matches and three German Cup games. He has also represented Ivory Coast 13 times, taking his total senior appearances to 59.

Despite his limited experience, Real Madrid view the winger as one of the brightest young attacking talents in football. Comfortable playing on either flank, Diomande is expected to provide manager Jose Mourinho with greater attacking versatility, pace and unpredictability in the final third.
