Victor Osimhen suffered an injury during Galatasaray’s Champions League clash against Liverpool FC on Wednesday night.

The Super Eagles striker was forced off in the second half after sustaining an arm injury following a challenge from Ibrahima Konaté.

Galatasaray went into the second leg with a 1-0 advantage from the first meeting in Turkey but were overwhelmed, as Liverpool produced a dominant display to win 4-0 and overturn the tie.

Dominik Szoboszlai opened the scoring, while Mohamed Salah missed a penalty before later getting on the scoresheet. Further goals from Hugo Ekitike and Ryan Gravenberch sealed the emphatic win.

Managed by Arne Slot, Liverpool will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals.
