The Oyo State Government has demolished a house allegedly linked to the kidnappers who abducted the younger sister of former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, and her two children.
The property, a three-bedroom bungalow located in the Lako area along Aiyegun-Anaye Road in Oluyole Local Government Area, was brought down on Monday by officials of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
Police operatives accompanied the demolition team as authorities moved to clear a location believed to have been used by the criminal gang involved in the abduction.
The victims, Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, were kidnapped on June 3, 2026, in the Elewura area of Challenge, Ibadan.
State officials said the demolition was part of broader efforts to curb kidnapping and other violent crimes, stressing that properties linked to criminal activities would not be tolerated.
The government maintained that the action demonstrates its resolve to dismantle criminal networks and strengthen security across Oyo State.
