Content creator and streamer Peller has expressed disappointment after claiming that nearly $30,000 worth of the dollar notes sprayed on him during his wedding turned out to be counterfeit.
Speaking during a livestream, the newlywed said he only discovered the alleged fake currency after taking the money to the bank, adding that the revelation came as a complete shock.
According to Peller, he had returned home believing he had received a huge cash gift and even celebrated what he thought was a life-changing moment before learning that many of the dollar bills were not genuine.
He said:
“When I got to the bank, they told me the dollars were fake. I know the people who have given me real money before, and I can recognize them if I see them. But the dollars they sprayed on me were fake.
“I got home after my wedding thinking I was already a millionaire. I even made a video saying, ‘Hello, hello,’ because I thought I was rich, only to find out the money was fake. that’s almost $30,000 cash.
“You people must have noticed that I never talked about the dollars again. Is it by force to spray money at someone’s wedding?”
Although visibly upset, Peller did not accuse anyone directly. Instead, he questioned why anyone would choose to spray counterfeit foreign currency at a wedding, describing the experience as both surprising and disappointing.
