Ifeoma Okoye, wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has publicly addressed the controversy surrounding her after Peter Okoye claimed she owns 80 percent of Northside Music Limited.

The allegation, made during the ongoing legal proceedings involving Jude Okoye and Northside Music Limited, has intensified public discussions about the ownership of the company and the management of P-Square’s music catalogue.

In a detailed statement shared on social media, Ifeoma explained that she had deliberately chosen not to speak earlier, saying her silence was rooted in faith rather than fear.

According to her, recent narratives have been misrepresented in an attempt to drag her into a family dispute she neither started nor wishes to participate in. She maintained that she would not contribute to public accusations or further inflame the situation, preferring to leave the truth in God’s hands.

She wrote:

“There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God.

I have become aware of stories that have been twisted and manipulated to draw me into disputes that I neither created nor desire. I will not respond by trading accusations or fueling public conflict. As a believer, I choose to let God be my witness, for He knows every conversation, every intention, and every truth hidden from human eyes.”

Drawing from the biblical account of Ananias and Sapphira, Ifeoma said people may succeed in misleading others for a while, but no one can deceive God, whom she described as the ultimate judge of every intention and action.

She added that she has no desire to justify herself before those who have already made up their minds against her, insisting that truth will prevail without manipulation and expressing confidence that God will reveal everything at the appropriate time.

She concluded by saying her desire is not to see anyone condemned but to see healing and reconciliation, praying that God would bring conviction where necessary, restore broken relationships, replace conflict with peace, and lead everyone involved toward truth, humility, repentance and love.

Her comments come as the legal and public dispute within the Okoye family continues to attract widespread attention.
