Nollywood star Rotimi Salami is currently receiving treatment in hospital after a severe health crisis that left him fighting for his life.
The actor shared the update on Instagram, posting a photo from his hospital bed while reflecting on a terrifying 48-hour period he recently survived.
“I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes. I’m not the type to say ‘Devil is a liar’ because I’ve truly stressed this body. Kilanko has taken too much from me,”
He hinted that the demanding process of working on “Kilanko,” a new cinema release created in honour of late actress Allwell Ademola, played a role in his condition.
Though Salami did not disclose specific details about the illness, he made it clear that the intense workload had taken a heavy toll on his body.
Following the revelation, supporters and fellow entertainers flooded his page with prayers and messages of encouragement, urging him to take time off and focus on regaining full health.
