National Association of Seadogs also known as Pyrates Confraternity (Saxon Deck) have concluded plans for maiden edition of the Deck’s football competition tagged; Champions League.
The Deck’s Capoon, Engineer Leigh Olueh, in a statement made available on Sunday, said the tournament is organised in conjunction with the deck leadership and Sub Deck Coordinators to strengthen the unity of Saxon deck.
“The League is in line with the theme of the Sayle “Pyracy, Our Brotherhood, our Bond”, and as part of the promise to work towards strengthening the unity of Saxon deck.
“It is A-5-aside football competition amongst the subdecks aboard the deck and will run through the course of the sayle, giving Seadogs the opportunity to network, interact, exercise, keep fit and healthy and lots more,” he stated.
Capoon Leigh also promised that substantial dates and venues for the matches will be announced soon.
The proposed fixtures of matches are as follows;
