During a podcast conversation, the actor explained that he would not openly tell the woman he likes her. Instead, he said he would position himself as a close and dependable friend.
According to Timini, the strategy works because the boyfriend would appear controlling if he tried to stop the friendship.

“If I am moving to your girlfriend I won’t be telling her I like her.
“I will come in as a friend who is always there for her.
“And you will sound like a douchebag if you’re stopping her to be just friends with me.”
