A woman identified as Ogechi has appealed to veteran Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate, whose real name is Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, to recognise a young woman she claims is his biological daughter.
Ogechi said she once worked as the singer’s pedicurist and alleged that they were in a relationship for more than seven years before she became pregnant.
According to her, when she informed the Fuji star about the pregnancy, he allegedly asked her to terminate it and promised to send someone with money for the procedure. She claimed no one ever showed up, so she decided to keep the baby and later gave birth to a girl named Azizat.
She further alleged that after informing him of the child’s birth, he refused to accept responsibility. Ogechi also claimed she met the singer’s late mother, who became emotional after seeing the child because of what she believed was a striking resemblance.
The woman said she had sought help from several traditional rulers in an effort to persuade the singer to acknowledge the child but without success. She added that she is ready to undergo a DNA test if there are any doubts about the girl’s paternity.
In her appeal, Ogechi said:
“I’m Ogechi. Nigerians, please help me beg Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to accept his daughter. If he is doubting the paternity of Azizat, I am ready for DNA.”
The young woman, Azizat Aduke Ellena, also appealed directly to the singer, saying she has grown up hearing about his wealth but has never benefited from his support.
She alleged that when she and her mother visited his residence in Ijebu Ode in July 2025, he refused to acknowledge her.
Azizat also revealed that she has begun writing a song inspired by her experience and hopes to release it in the future.
As of the time of this report, K1 De Ultimate has not publicly responded to the allegations.
