Afrobeats star Davido has slammed former Osun State governor Gboyega Oyetola over alleged political activities ahead of the next governorship election in the state.
The singer appeared to hint that Oyetola may be plotting a return to power after he was defeated by Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, in the last election.
Reacting on X, Davido described Oyetola as “the most desperate politician in the world.”
“The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing,” he wrote.
In another tweet, the singer added:
“OYETOLA UR PLAN NO GO WORK”
Davido has remained vocal about Osun politics, especially when it concerns his uncle’s administration and opposition figures in the state.
