Nottingham Forest and Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has responded with humour after social media users mocked his wife’s appearance online.
In a video shared on his social media page, Awoniyi’s wife brought up comments from trolls who criticised her looks and even suggested that the footballer should marry another wife.
Reacting jokingly, Awoniyi said, “You didn’t tell them I’ve already married another wife, I just don’t post her.”
His wife played along, saying she might undergo cosmetic procedures such as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), fillers and a body tuck because of the criticism.
Awoniyi, however, made his stance clear in the caption of the video, writing: “Una don dey stress natural beauty.”
