The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has confirmed the entry of former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, into its ranks, describing the development as a major step forward for its political agenda.
In a statement released on Thursday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, the party said Baba-Ahmed’s defection signals what it called a “new dawn” for its efforts toward national rebuilding.
The PRP stated that his加入, together with his supporters across the country, would add strength to its push for cleaner governance, improved security architecture, and stronger economic policies.
According to the party, Baba-Ahmed’s involvement further reinforces its commitment to offering a platform for Nigerians who are dedicated to national progress and unity.
It also maintained that its doors remain open to citizens who are willing to contribute to addressing the country’s political and socio-economic challenges.
