Nigerian singer Banky W has shared insight into how responsibilities are handled in his home, revealing that he is the one who mostly takes care of cooking.
Speaking during an appearance on the Teju Babyface Show, he addressed reactions that followed a viral video of him in the kitchen, explaining his arrangement with his wife, Adesua Etomi-Wellington.
According to him, although his wife is capable of cooking, it’s not something she does frequently. “There are some men who believe their wife must cook for them. My wife doesn’t really cook, though she can but it’s just not her thing,” he said.
He made it clear that he actually enjoys cooking and doesn’t see it as a responsibility being forced on him, but rather something he willingly does as part of their daily life.
Banky W went on to stress that every relationship is unique, adding that couples should focus on what works for them instead of trying to meet societal expectations.
