Ifeanyi Okowa has recorded a massive victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary held in Ward 9, Okpanam, Delta North, polling 4,462 votes to defeat serving Senator Ned Nwoko, who reportedly secured just three votes.

The result was shared on Facebook by Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, who confirmed that the exercise was successfully conducted.

He described the outcome as a clear indication of strong support for Ifeanyi Okowa, saying it reflects the backing of party loyalists in the area.

The APC is currently conducting its senatorial primaries across the country, with emerging reports suggesting that some serving senators may struggle to secure re-election tickets ahead of the 2027 general polls.
