Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has made fresh allegations involving colleagues in the entertainment industry and the controversy surrounding actor Baba Ijesha and Luminee.
In a lengthy statement shared online, the actress claimed that some industry figures were allegedly working against Baba Ijesha and trying to ruin his career.
She alleged that discussions and plans were made after news broke about Luminee’s pregnancy, insisting that certain individuals acted in ways meant to frustrate the actor out of the movie industry.
Lizzy also claimed that a WhatsApp group was created among some celebrities and referenced events such as a baby shower, while suggesting that the reactions were part of a coordinated effort against Baba Ijesha.
She further accused actress Iyabo Ojo and others of being involved in attempts to “deal with” the actor, insisting that there is more going on within the movie industry than what the public sees.
According to her, Baba Ijesha has since been vindicated and is now in a better place, noting that he has moved on with his life and started a new family.
Lizzy maintained that her comments are often misunderstood, adding that she speaks out because of what she believes are hidden issues within the industry that many people are unaware of.
