Davido has set social media abuzz after reportedly gifting X influencer and longtime supporter, Abazz, the sum of ₦15 million following his public defence of the singer online.
The exchange began when Abazz reacted to a viral post about Davido’s recent gesture to Twitch streamer Davrel, where the Afrobeats star allegedly instructed a luxury car dealer to allow him pick any vehicle of his choice.
Abazz wrote:
“Davido’s motion is too much, he just called sarkin mota and told him to give Davrel any car of his choice🐐❤️🙌🏻”
His post quickly drew attention, including a reaction from Tufab, an associate of Wizkid, who pointed out Abazz’s long-standing loyalty to Davido while questioning the level of recognition he has received.
