Actress Nkechi Blessing has shared fresh details about her past relationships while responding to criticism over her reaction to Baba Ijesha and Luminee’s baby announcement.
The actress came under fire after expressing surprise at the news, prompting some social media users to bring up her dating history and question her right to comment on the matter.
Reacting via her Instagram story, Nkechi defended herself, noting that none of the men she has dated had been accused or convicted of offences similar to Baba Ijesha’s, who was previously convicted for sexually assaulting a minor.
She later posted a video, insisting that she has never been dumped by any of her ex-boyfriends and revealing that she was the breadwinner in those relationships.
According to her, she has always been the one to end relationships whenever she loses interest, dismissing claims that she frequently changes partners.
The actress maintained that being outspoken on social media is her right and that she will not be silenced by online criticism.
“No man I’ve dated has ever left me. How can they leave me when I was the breadwinner? I am the one who leaves men when I am tired, so don’t think you can insult me by saying I change men like clothes. I am allowed to give my two cents on issues on social media,” she said.
