Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has presented a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs Rachael Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, after her release from captivity.
The vehicle was presented on Monday in the presence of Akeem Adeyemi, the lawmaker representing Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba Federal Constituency. Photos of the presentation were shared by Ibadan-based radio station Yes FM.
Mrs Alamu is currently receiving treatment at the Military Hospital in Ibadan after she and several abducted teachers and pupils were rescued by security operatives.
Shortly after her rescue, a video that circulated online showed the visibly shaken principal asking security personnel about the safety of her husband and the whereabouts of her vehicle. The officers assured her that her family was safe and comforted her as she recovered from the traumatic experience.
