Controversial relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology following the uproar surrounding her cancer claims and the drama that trailed it online.
In a fresh video, she addressed Nigerians, admitting that the situation had caused unnecessary tension and embarrassment, while maintaining that her health concerns were genuine.
“I want to start by saying I am very sorry to my loved ones, fans, well wishers and all Nigerians. I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment and controversy surrounding my health issues. Going forward, I will carry you all along just like I carried you all during my liposuction and bbl journey. Please be patient with me
I did not lie about my health issues. I will start by uploading my scan results officially down to my biopsy and carry you all on this journey. Please be patient with me. Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes. To the well meaning Nigerians who want a refund of their contributions, please kindly send us a WhatsApp message or DM, attaching your receipt and account number”
She assured the public that she would begin sharing medical documents, including scan and biopsy results, to provide clarity on her condition and rebuild trust.
Amid the backlash, Blessing CEO has also started refunding donors who contributed during the period of her health announcement. One of those refunded is social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who reportedly received his money back along with an extra ₦100 added as a birthday gesture.
The situation had sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians questioning the authenticity of her claims and demanding accountability over the donations.
