Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has spoken publicly following his release from the Kuje Correctional Centre after days in detention over legal allegations brought against him in Abuja.

After regaining his freedom, Blord expressed deep appreciation to activist Omoyele Sowore for playing a crucial role in securing his bail, despite having no prior relationship with him.

“I was supposed to be in Kuje prison until the 27th, but Omoyele Sowore said over his dead body. I’ve never met him, but when he heard I was being intimidated, he stepped in. I’m now part of his team. Revolution!”

Blord noted that Sowore’s intervention came at a critical point when it appeared he would remain in custody longer than expected. He credited the activist’s persistence and commitment for helping fast-track the process that eventually led to his release.

His case had drawn widespread attention, with many Nigerians following the developments closely as legal proceedings unfolded before the court granted him bail.
