The roadside corn seller who recently went viral after claiming she earns ₦2.5 million every month has now appealed to Nigerians for help, saying she has never made such an amount from her business.
The woman, whose earlier remarks sparked widespread debate on social media, appeared in a new video where she became emotional while addressing the controversy surrounding her viral interview.
Dismissing the claim that she earns millions from selling corn, she insisted she has never made ₦2.5 million since she started the business and questioned why she would still be working under the scorching sun if she were making that much.
In the viral video, she said:
“I’m making ₦2.5 million, yet I’m still standing under the sun? Since I started this corn business, I’ve never made that kind of money. Nigerians, please help me.”
Her latest statement has reignited conversations online, with many Nigerians expressing mixed reactions over the apparent contradiction between her previous viral interview and her recent appeal. While some sympathized with her, others questioned the circumstances surrounding the conflicting claims.
