Former Senate President David Mark has taken over as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after winning the party’s chairmanship contest with 1,471 votes.
The decision was reached at the party’s convention held at the Rainbow Event Centre, where delegates from across the country participated in the voting process.
At the end of the exercise, Mark secured the highest number of votes to clinch the position, officially confirming his leadership of the party.
His election marks a key shift within the ADC as it moves forward with a new leadership structure ahead of upcoming political activities.
