Don Jazzy’s father, Collins Enebeli, has expressed his support for Peter Okoye and his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, as the singer continues to speak publicly about his troubled relationship with his brothers.
Peter has recently shared several emotional accounts about what he claims happened within his family, including allegations concerning the treatment of Lola and the circumstances surrounding their first pregnancy.
In his latest revelations, Peter alleged that Lola faced opposition from members of the family and that there were attempts to convince the couple to terminate the pregnancy.
Reacting to the situation, Enebeli shared an old photograph of himself with Peter and Lola on social media. He recalled that he had prayed for the couple when the picture was taken in 2015.
The veteran music executive’s father said he was saddened by the issues that have emerged, describing his reaction as both emotional and sympathetic.
He also praised Peter and Lola for remaining together despite the challenges, while promising to continue remembering the couple in his prayers.
Enebeli wrote:
“Throwback to 2015 the day I prayed for @peterpsquare and @lolaomotayo_okoye. As a father, I am very sorry and emotional about all that has happened to this family. We love them so much.
“All the same, I thank God for their lives, sustenance, endurance, decorum, matrimonial bond and will continue to keep them in my prayers. Time is a great healer and may God take control of their circumstances.
“What can I say? May all the tribulations pass away, God heal our broken hearts and grant peace to this family IJMN.”
